A Message From Our Outgoing CEO & The Year Ahead
Hello Everyone,
I hope your 2023 is off to a great start!
We have some exciting, albeit bittersweet, news to start off the year:
After 22 years as Founder and CEO of Simbex, Rick Greenwald is transitioning to a role focused on strategy and technology development.
Rick will leverage his experience in evaluating new technologies and guiding companies to commercial success for Salona Global and Simbex, while continuing to bring the same level of expertise and dedication to our MedTech community.
An excerpt from Rick’s email to the Simbex team:
Team Simbex,
I want to thank each of you for the honor and privilege of leading Simbex for the past 22+ years. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience, filled with so many enduring memories and friendships, and every possible range of emotions.
Most important to me is that we stayed close to our core values, and we worked to develop great products that could impact people and their lives positively.
I transition from my current role with great confidence in Greg and the leadership team, and in all of you, to go forward and to be exactly what we say – a premier medical device and consumer health product development firm – and then, to continue to shape Simbex into whatever it is you, individually and collectively, decide it should become.
We have achieved every milestone we set out to accomplish and have been successful because of an open and team-centered approach, and a lot of really hard work, which is what it takes – and for that I am very satisfied, and forever grateful.
All my best,
Rick
In the past six years, we have doubled our team, learned new Agile methodologies together, expanded our portfolio of services, and positively impacted our community and the many clients that call Simbex their partner.
Moving forward, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the new President and CEO of Simbex.
I am looking forward to continuing to support our clients with premier commercialization and engineering consulting services in the coming year, while honing our processes, learning continuously, and executing well, every day.
I wish you the best of luck in 2023, and thank you for staying connected.
Sincerely,
Greg Lange, MS
Simbex President & CEO
