Dr. Richard Greenwald Inducted into American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering
Washington, DC – The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Richard M. Greenwald, Ph.D., Co-Founder and President, Simbex, Lebanon, NH, Co-Founder, iWalk, Cambridge, MA, Co-Director, TREAT, Adjunct Professor of Engineering, Dartmouth College, Simbex to its College of Fellows. Dr. Greenwald was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for invention and commercialization of devices that record head impact in helmeted sports, assist amputees’ walking and geriatrics balancing.
A formal induction ceremony was held during the AIMBE Annual Meeting at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC on April 9, 2018. Dr. Greenwald was inducted along with 156 colleagues who make up the AIMBE College of Fellows Class of 2018.
